Raised in a quiet college town, my environment was saturated with knowledge, which I avidly absorbed. You were most likely to find me under the covers devouring a novel or plotting adventures with my small but tight knit circle of friends. My vivid imagination was my guide. I wrote my first poem at age 8 and first short fiction at age 9, both of which were praised and published. When other girls were out playing soccer, I was creating characters and inventing stories.
At age 32, I have blossomed into confident and caring woman. I’m an ambivert, and my mood reflects the energy around me. I’m equally content flaunting my moves at a dance club or debating philosophy over a class of champagne. I adore the outdoors, and hiking up mountains and rock climbing keeps my body in shape. Nothing is more humbling than being surrounded by vast breathtaking landscapes and sleeping under the stars.
A social chameleon, my energy adapts to that around me.This has led to a vast array of friendships: academics, scientists, entrepreneurs, artists. I’m an optimist at heart, and you’ll find my personality playful; but I can also be thoughtful, attentive, and nurturing.
Social media is the window into my daily life. I post makeup-less photos (as well as more glamorous ones); jokes and witty commentary; as well as share deep thoughts, even when my thoughts are controversial. I’d rather express myself authentically than develop a false brand. You deserve to know exactly who you are meeting rather than face potential incompatibility upon meeting.
